Vize
- History
Vize is a district built over the ancient Thracian city of Bizye, once the capital of a Thracian royal dynasty. Inside Vize Castle on the acropolis stands a 5th-6th century Byzantine church known as Küçük Ayasofya (Little Hagia Sophia), and the Asmakayalar cave monastery is another of the district's notable historic sites.
