The Geben Valley was declared a national park in 2025 for its natural wealth and biodiversity, home to 603 plant species, 83 of them endemic. In Andırın district, the valley features the sheer rock silhouette of Kayranlı Dağı, the Kırksu springs and Karagöl, a karstic lake that hosts various bird species. The site also contains the 272-metre Söğütovası Travers Cave and Roman-period remains including Meryemçil Castle, Kızıl Kale and a Roman bath.
