Munzur Valley National Park, declared a national park in 1971, covers 42,000 hectares and is one of Türkiye's largest national parks. The valley, through which the Munzur stream winds in meanders, stands out for its endemic plant species (such as the Munzur partridge and Munzur buttercup) and rich fauna. It has walking trails, campsites, a watersports centre and picnic areas, and the Munzur Springs lie within the park's boundaries.
