Erfelek Tatlıca Waterfalls were discovered by chance in 1997 during the construction of a dam access road. The area, made up of 28 waterfalls of varying size strung along a 2-kilometre valley, was declared a nature park in 2011. Wooden walkways and bridges lead from one waterfall to the next.
