Sumbas

Sumbas, which became a district in 1996 after separating from Kadirli, is a small district of Osmaniye that still resembles a village, with orange groves, cotton fields and fig trees. Agriculture and livestock farming continue on land irrigated by the Mehmetli Dam. The district was affected by the 2023 earthquakes and some buildings may be under repair.
