The Muradiye Mosque, built between 1583 and 1585 in the name of Murad III, is part of a complex designed by the architect Mimar Sinan. Built of cut stone with two minarets, its interior is decorated with tiles, and it has adjoining madrasa and soup-kitchen buildings; a bust at the entrance commemorates its architect.
