Pehlivanköy

Pehlivanköy, in the southwest of Kırklareli province in the Ergene basin, is a small district bordered by Babaeski to the north and east, Edirne to the west and Tekirdağ to the south. Its historic railway station, built by the French in 1889, and the Akarca Bridge over the Ergene river, dated to the 16th century, are its notable historic structures; the Pavli Fair, held every September since 1910, is its traditional event.
