Yörük Village, about 11 km from Safranbolu, has been a protected conservation area since 1997. Among its rows of adjoining two- and three-storey timber houses, the Onbaşıgil and Sipahioğlu mansions are the most monumental examples. The village also has an old wash house and a small mosque.
