A 19th-century Ottoman palace on the Bosphorus, where Atatürk died.

Built in the mid-19th century for Sultan Abdülmecid, Dolmabahçe is known for its grand halls decorated in European styles and its huge chandelier. Atatürk died in this palace on 10 November 1938. The palace is visited with guided groups.
