Housed in a building known as the Gogora Church, the Giresun Museum displays terracotta pieces, architectural fragments, amphorae and coins from the Early Bronze Age, Hittite, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. Its ethnography section holds 19th-century clothing, weapons and jewellery.
