Lake Salda is one of Türkiye's most visited lakes, thanks to the white minerals on its shores and its turquoise colour. Its shoreline deposits have also been studied scientifically for their similarity to a crater on Mars. The lake is a specially protected area; stay within the designated areas and rules.
