Burdur Museum opened to visitors in 1969, housed in the library building of the historic Bulguroğlu Madrasa. It displays thousands of archaeological and ethnographic items from the Persian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. The statue of Dionysus and the Dancing Girls friezes from Sagalassos are among its highlights.
