Osmaneli is known for over a hundred examples of 19th-century civil architecture; some of these houses, up to four or five storeys, show that Greek and Turkish residents once lived here together. Usually two or three storeys, built of brick or adobe, their ground floors were used for silkworm breeding. Some buildings, such as the Tokluoğlu Mansion, stand out for their original details.
