Set in the reed beds and willow groves on the northeast shore of Lake Manyas, the park is a breeding and migration area for hundreds of bird species. Endangered species such as the Dalmatian pelican and the pygmy cormorant nest here regularly. Observation towers and a small museum introduce the area to visitors.
