Ağaçören

Ağaçören lies in northern Aksaray, on volcanic plateau terrain, bordered by Sarıyahşi to the north, Ortaköy to the east, Aksaray's central district to the south and Ankara's Şereflikoçhisar district to the west. It took its current name in 1964 and became a district in 1989; its economy rests on farming and livestock.
