Anzavur Tepe (Aznavurtepe) is a mound a few kilometres north-east of central Patnos. The fortification walls uncovered in excavations are thought to date from the reign of the Urartian king Menua, and the temple on top from the reign of King İşpuini. Palace, temple and gravestone remains can be seen on the mound.
